April 21, Tuesday: Arrival in Istanbul
Transfer from the airport to the hotel followed by a
welcome briefing.
April 22, Wednesday: Istanbul (B)
• Full-day guided tour of Istanbul’s iconic landmarks
• Begin with a visit to Hagia Sophia, a masterpiece of Byzantine architecture, originally built in the 6th century as a church, later converted into a mosque, and still functioning as a mosque today. Continue to the Hippodrome, once the social and sporting hub of Constantinople.
• Visit the Blue Mosque, renowned for its magnificent architecture and exquisite blue Iznik tiles. Conclude the day with a stroll through the vibrant Grand Bazaar, one of the world’s oldest and largest covered markets.
• Optional entrance ticket: Visit Topkapi Palace Museum, the opulent residence of Ottoman sultans (Harem section excluded).
• Optional: Traditional Turkish dinner with belly dancing show.
April 23, Thursday: Istanbul – Canakkale (B, L)
• After breakfast, depart from the hotel and drive to Eceabat for lunch at a local restaurant. Following lunch, continue to Gallipoli, the site of many significant battles during World War I. Visit Anzac Cove, Lone Pine Cemetery, and Chunuk Bair. Afterwards, cross the Dardanelles to Çanakkale for overnight stay.
April 24, Friday: Troy - Dardanelles - Gallipoli (B)
• In the morning, visit Troy. Enjoy some free time in Çanakkale town center before continuing to Gallipoli for the Anzac Ceremony. Please note that there is no hotel accommodation tonight.
April 25, Saturday: Gallipoli - Istanbul (B)
• After the Anzac ceremony, continue to Istanbul for overnight (not a full service breakfast; a breakfast box will be served)
April 26, Sunday: Return (B)
Transfer to airport.
