Day 1: Istanbul | You’re greeted upon landing in Istan- bul and transferred to your hotel by a Neon Tours representative. Free afternoon.
Day 2: Istanbul | Tour Topkapi Palace (Closed on Tues- days) residence of Ottoman sultans, the Hippodrome, site of chariot races, the Blue Mosque, famous for its colorful ceramics, Underground Cistern and Saint Sophia (Closed on Mondays) decorated with ancient frescoes. Enjoy the 3,000 shops in the Covered Bazaar. Overnight in Istanbul. B L
Day 3: Istanbul | A half-day tour including Spice Market and cruise on the Bosphorus, depending on the weather conditions. Free time to explore the city. B
Day 4: Ephesus – Izmir or Kusadasi | An early morning flight to Izmir. Arrive and transfer to Ephesus where you will explore 2,000 year-old marble streets, a theater, the Library of Celsius, a gymnasium, and Hadrian’s Temple in Ephesus. Visit Virgin Mary’s stone cottage. Overnight in Izmir or Kusadasi. B L
Day 5: Pamukkale – Izmir | Today is the day to pay an early morning visit to the unique Cotton Fortress, the white calcium cascades, and also pay a visit to one of the first modern spa centers of the ancient world, Hierapolis. Then drive to Kusadasi or Izmir and over- night. B L
Day 6: Izmir or Kusadasi Return | Day 6: Izmir or Kusa- dasi Return | Your representative escorts you to the airport for your flight or to your holiday beach resort for an extension. B
